The InsectERA Mobilising Agenda has come to an end, marking the conclusion of a collaborative project that brought together companies, universities and research centres with the aim of promoting innovation and sustainability through the valorisation of insect protein.
For petMaxi, participating in this initiative represented an opportunity to strengthen investment in research and development and to explore new solutions for pet food. Throughout the project, the company applied its industrial expertise to the development of products that combine nutritional quality, innovation and sustainability, while keeping pace with the evolving needs of the market and consumers.
The main outcome of this participation was the development of happyOne Premium Adult Dog – Insect Protein, a complete food formulated with an alternative protein source of high nutritional value and with a lower environmental impact. This product embodies the knowledge acquired throughout the project and demonstrates how research and innovation can lead to concrete solutions to the current challenges of animal nutrition.
The conclusion of the InsectERA Agenda represents the culmination of an important journey of collaboration, research and development. petMaxi will continue to invest in differentiated solutions, reinforcing its commitment to quality, sustainability and the well-being of companion animals.
